First, we are NOT a college placement consultancy that works with families to find the ideal boarding school or college fit for children. Such work is comfortably left to other traditional educational consultants.

Rather, our approach to consultancy is unique and applicable.  We directly address the issues that cause Heads of School to lose sleep.  It’s that simple.  We work directly with independent (primarily boarding) secondary schools, their Heads, Administrators and Boards of Trustees, providing consultative guidance to ensure quality, efficiency and operation in both tactical services/programs and strategic initiatives. Our goal is the same as yours: to make your school as operationally sound as it can be – tactically and strategically – in every aspect.  In many ways, we can function as your “Virtual Chief of Staff”, facilitating many of the operational issues that face you at any point in time.  We are updated on the latest developments in:

  • girl studyoperational planning
  • resource management
  • trustee retention & assignment
  • scheduling
  • campus master planning
  • physical space optimization
  • staffing & organization
  • curriculum refinement
  • fiscal development/advancement
  • endowment management
  • educational technologies
  • safety planning & crisis management
  • promotion/PR
  • accreditation
  • and they myriad of other issues that cause Heads of School to lose sleep.

Secondariae LLC charges reasonable and customary consulting fees, at rates far below those of other educational consulting firms or formal management consulting firms.  Upon the execution of a Master Services Agreement and Non-Disclosure Agreement, no retainer fee is payable; the execution of these documents simply formalizes retention.  When a project is identified, an RFP is generated by the school, a proposal is then drafted, a scope-of-work is then agreed upon, reflected in an executable Work Order that defines deliverables, timelines and payables.

Since we are an external contractor and not an FTE, you will not be providing expensive benefit programs, insurance or other costly line items.  Other customary fees and charges, as well as a comprehensive description of services, will be reviewed during a personal presentation.
